A man who spiked treats with tranquilliser and provided them to youngsters at a summer camp in the region has confessed to sexual offenses against two boys who were nine and ten years old.
The defendant was detained after eight minors and a grown-up fell ill at Stathern Lodge in July.
The elderly man, from the Nottinghamshire area, confessed to a multiple criminal counts when he appeared at the judicial center on Friday.

'Treat game'
The prosecutor, handling the case, described the criminal behavior to the judicial body.
She stated his victims were under-privileged children who were attending a summer program which he operated.
The man played a "sweet game" with the minors, Mrs Prior explained, in which he would access the children's bedrooms when they were getting ready for bed and request they to ingest treats "as fast as possible".
She stated to the judge Ruben had played this game with the children "repeatedly", and children had earlier experienced illness the next day.
She stated Ruben had been successful in rationalizing this repeatedly as the minors being "overstimulated by activities", until his stepchild had worries in recently.
Mrs Prior KC continued: "Recently" his family member had concerns about the activities, justifiably.
"They resolved" to examine in the individual's items."
The prosecutor stated materials including lubricant, petroleum jelly and injection devices were located, and his stepchild contacted the authorities about his suspicions.
She stated Ruben proceeded to play the "treat game" with six youngsters that evening - Saturday 26 July - and they were everyone unwell the following morning.
"The police had not gone out by that time," she added.
The oversight body, the Independent Office for Police Conduct, earlier informed that it was reviewing the police response of the incident.
Mrs Prior stated the children were struggling to walk due to being ill, so the family member notified the law enforcement again.
She said the man then played the "treat game" in a space of five minors.
